The narrative, maps and photos have been gleaned from a variety of sources and we cannot vouch for their complete accuracy. We continue to research available sources and will continue to update, and expand, the subdivision information as it becomes available.

Many of the accompanying photos are quite large and as a result could cause lengthy download times, especially the satellite images of Hawaiian Ocean View Estates and Hawaiian Ocean View Ranchos. You can view the larger images by clicking on the smaller images contained in the narrative. The large images will open in a new window.

Mark Twain Estates (subdivision map)

Mark Twain Estates Estates is a community consisting of approximately 550 lots, most between 15,000 and 20,000 square feet in size.  Non-maintained lots are likely to be overgrown with Christmas berry trees.Click to see full sized image.

As county water is currently unavailable, water is by catchment system.

Electricity is widely available in the subdivision.  The graded roads are privately maintained although somewhat rugged with some having become totally overgrown making them impassable.

There are two main entrances to the Mark Twain Estates, one is directly off Kamaoa Road and the other is through Wakea Avenue, the main entrance of the neighboring community of Discovery Harbour.
