Mark Twain Estates Estates is a community consisting of approximately 550 lots, most between 15,000 and 20,000 square feet in size.  Non-maintained lots are likely to be overgrown with Christmas berry trees.

As county water is currently unavailable, water is by catchment system.

Electricity is widely available in the subdivision.  The graded roads are privately maintained although somewhat rugged with some having become totally overgrown making them impassable.

There are two main entrances to the Mark Twain Estates, one is directly off Kamaoa Road and the other is through Wakea Avenue, the main entrance of the neighboring community of Discovery Harbour.
